Plasticity Forum - "The Directors' Cut"

Plasticity - "Directors' Cut" was proud to be part of the United Nations Environment (UNEP's) Sea of Solutions conference this week which was hosted from Bangkok with Vietnam, following on from last year's highly successful event.   

Plasticity’s decade of insight was distilled into a playlist of actions which are shaping the future of plastic – Recovery, and a world without the waste footprint, focusing on commitments, measurement and engagement.  The event was hosted by Plasticity Founder, Doug Woodring of Ocean Recovery Alliance, and Co-Producer, Trish Hyde of The Plastics Circle.  

This special broadcast, only for the Plasticity Forum, was made possible by Creative Technology Asia Pacific and their great team in Hong Kong, and was linked to the overall zoom conference held over three days with #sos2020.   Plasticity Directors' Cut also included special guests: Permanent Secretary for the Environment, Fiji, Joshua Wycliffe, and Alok Pandy of Solaridad Network in India.     

SEA of Solutions is an annually occurring partnership event towards solving plastic pollution at source, convened by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Coordinating Body on the Seas of East Asia (COBSEA), through the SEA circular project supported by the Government of Sweden. This year’s SEA of Solutions 2020 was organized in collaboration with the government of Vietnam.  http://sos2020.sea-circular.org/
